Allen Mims
Snapsold Co-founder, Photography Director, Photographer
Allen has both creative and intellectual skills, likely a product of his pronounced Ideasthesia. It’s a real thing.
Ideasthesia can be defined as the network of sensory associations that create ideas. So being sensitive to his environment leads to clear ideas that lead to fine photography.
A biologist before he was an award-winning photographer, Allen worked as lab technician in the Army and once published an article in The Lancet, a British medical journal. His abundant creativity launched a highly successful commercial photography career of 35 years until he co-founded Snapsold in 2015.
He and his soul mate Lydia have a daughter, Alexandra, who holds a doctorate in molecular medicine and works at MIT. Not bad. Their pet rescue dog Stella has no academic credentials but is an enthusiastic cuddler.

Steve Miller
Snapsold co-founder, executive director Photographer, videographer
Snapsold co-founder, executive director Photographer, videographerSteve is a juggler, both of random items and creative talents. He has been an art director for various advertising agencies and spent several years as the creative director for a large national corporation. He has design skills, photography skills, videography skills and does some writing, as well.
A co-founder of Snapsold, Steve is a terrific organizer and planner, adept at directing people and ideas toward a common goal. If he had a motto, it might be unitas et sem! – unity and teamwork.
Steve is an avid biker, the peddling kind, and he enjoys gardening, tennis and wood-splitting… for reasons unknown. His wife Livi is a college professor and they have three grown children and two adorable grandkids (photos upon request).

Michael Ives
Photographer
Michael has never been to space, but he has photographed the world. In his four-decade professional photography career he has worked on five continents, with major clients as diverse as Brunswick Bowling, French wines, and the Chickasaw Nation.
A graduate of the Brooks Institute of Photography, he and his wife Carla have been married for 50+ years – congratulations! They have two adult sons and three grandchildren. He has photographed them, as well.
In his spare time, Michael enjoys making outdoor furniture. He also makes friends – his personal goal is to be nice to a stranger every day.

Brandon Turk
Drone pilot, Matterport 3D photographer
Like a pelican, Brandon is perfectly comfortable in the air, at sea or on land.
Brandon spent 10 years in the Navy working primarily with the Defense Department. He is a licensed airplane pilot and certified drone pilot. His drone skills are so good that he once wrote the curriculum for Steve Wozniak’s “WozEd” drone program. If you didn’t know, “Woz” is the co-founder of Apple, a computer company. Brandon says he has lived at every submarine base in America, a claim no one cares to dispute.
Brandon is married to Bailey. They have a son, Lincoln, and a daughter, Reagan. Their cat Mittens runs the household.

Jeffrey Jacobs
Photographer
Light is essential to photography as air is to flight. Great lighting can elevate a snapshot into a work of art.
Jeffrey has spent more than 40 years bringing light and life to photography. From stunning architectural photos to dynamic product shots, his images have graced such noted publications as Architecture, Interior Design, and Southern Living. His client list is a who’s who of Fortune 500 companies and national publishers.
Jeffrey is not all business, however. He and his wife of 25 years, Suz, love the outdoors and long drives. REALLY long drives. Jeffrey boasts he can drive 1000 miles non-stop. None one has asked if that includes restroom breaks.

Adrianne Haskins
Photographer
Creativity is the heart of great photography. Adrianne’s heart is full.
Her list of interests covers the spectrum of artistic expression – painting, pottery, design, fashion and yoga. All of these, with the possible exception of yoga, influence her photography, which she has done professionally for more than a decade. Her commercial clients included M&Ms, Samsonite, Hyatt Centric and others. These days she expresses herself through her work with Snapsold.
When not honing her photography skills she enjoys working alongside her husband Dylan, who helps illuminate the world by designing custom lamps.

Steve Jones
Photographer
Steve’s bio reads like a Hemingway novel; born in Wichita, backpacked the mountains, became a truck driver, earned a journalism degree, worked as a news photographer at The Commercial Appeal and other newspapers.
He eventually made his way to Memphis where he worked for the local newspaper and an organization called Contemporary Arts Memphis where he taught photography to talented young students.
An avid bike rider, Steve and his wife Susan abide in a 100-year-old house in the historic Copper-Young district with their furry kids Ivy, an Italian greyhound mix, and Emmy, a pit bull mix (sometimes referred to as a Memphis poodle). Their actual kids, Audrey and Lily, are chillin’ in California and Florida, respectively.

Will Rucker
Photo Processor, Video Editor
Will is Snapsold’s photo and video editor and he excels at photo and video composition. Like, he’s really good at it. He’s the kind of person who pays attention to the slightest detail. Not to say he is fixated on things, but every year he creates a new list of his all-time favorite albums.
Every. Year.
Will enjoys fitness, too. He’s a member of a thrice-weekly workout group and he runs frequently. He also likes backpacking and exploring caves with his father-in-law. His wife Andrea appreciates that her dad always brings him home. They have three kids – Knox, Darcy, and Holden, as well as a black cat named Jack.

Drew Garrison
Photographer
“We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.” – Aristotle
Drew is a superb real estate photographer. He also has a degree in Philosophy. A coincidence? We don’t think so.
Originally from South Carolina, Drew has many interests in addition to photography. He likes brewing beer and sports (an excellent combination), and he enjoys movies, reading, camping, and traveling. As a former youth pastor, he also likes kids, which is good because he and his wife Sophia have a young daughter named Ivy. Griffin the dog is also an important member of the family.
